Quick and Easy Snack: Bananas with Peanut Butter, Cookie Butter, or Nutella

You know that feeling when it’s about 3PM — kinda too late for a full lunch, but too early for dinner — and you’re ravenous and have ZERO IDEA what to eat? Is it only me who gets that feeling?

If you’re a snacker and you are sick of all your snacks, opt for a plain ol’ banana. It sounds kinda boring, but it doesn’t have to be. Schmear on some rich nutella, natural peanut butter, or Biscoff spread (also known as cookie butter or Speculoos spread). btw, check out my recipe for Chocolate ‘Cookie Butter’ Surprise Cookies. You can also eat bananas drizzled with rich honey, too. How about almond butter? The possibilities are endless!

A banana with creamy peanut butter(or other spread) is surprisingly filling, and hopefully this snack will satisfy your cravings until dinnertime……

Does this not sound fancy schmancy enough for you? Hey, that’s what I’m here for: helping you all make cheap and fancy dishes that are healthy and fast.

Let’s slice up a banana. We’re looking for about 1/3-inch thickness.

Lay them all out neatly, like so.

Dab maybe half a teaspoon of peanut butter on half the slices.

You can use nutella or cookie butter, too. Whatever floats your boat. Now sandwich the slices together!

Now… freeze them for, like, 30 mins. Or, heck, eat them immediately. They’re seriously serious eats. What shall we call these? Peanut Butter and Banana sandwiches?

No, those weren’t sandwiches. You wanna make a sandwich? Grab some bread. I’ll show you how to make a peanut butter and banana sandwich. Spread some PB on a slice ‘o bread. You don’t have to score the PB like that. I was just trying to be pseudo-fancy schmancy.

Layer on them banana slices.

And that, my friends, is a quick snack. Keep it an open-faced sandwich to cut down on carbs. Perfect for full-time college students and it took zero thyme at all, thank you very much.
