FAQ

Who are you and why do you love food so much?
Think of me as the little angel who eternally sits on your shoulder, encouraging you to abuse your kitchen instead of devouring take-out all the time. As for your second question… some people eat to live. I live to eat.

Why did you create this website?
Encourage you to try to cook for yourself. It’s really fun.

When did you start your blog?
I started this blog in October 2012 when I had a clear vision of what I wanted, but it took me a full 6 months to learn how to code the website myself and make sure all the pieces would fall together. The site officially went live in March 2013. I used to have another foodblog as an undergrad in college, but “Full-thyme Student” is my pride and joy.

How long have you been cooking?
Since I was 4. Seriously. =P

How’d you come up with “full-thyme student?”
It just happened. I wanted something that connected college students and food and this came to mind. Who doesn’t love a good pun?

What kind of camera do you use?
Nikon D5100 Digital SLR Camera. Lenses may vary.

Are you a real person? Or just some large food manufacturer that is pretending like they are a real person that happens to have actual recipes and the technical/graphical skills to create your full-thyme student blog?
I am, indeed, a real person.

Can I advertise on your site?
Sure thing, email me at fullthymestudent (at) gmail.com if you have an inquiry or proposal.

Can I run your photos and recipes on my site or mobile application?
All photos on Full-thyme Student are copyrighted, so they should not be reused without my explicit permission. The recipes can be shared, of course, but please make sure your clearly link photos and recipes back to fullthymestudent.com or the permanent link to the recipe. (the permanent link is generally << fullthymestudent.com/the title of the post and/or recipe name>>). If you want to use my content (recipes or photos) for anything else such as business, advertising, books, etc. you must contact me first at fullthymestudent (at) gmail.com

What’s your favorite meal?
That’s impossible to answer.

What’s your goal?
To create full-thyme students out of full-time students.
